The concrete fire bunker by Hytek is based on our experience over the last 10 years of manufacturing pre cast concrete wine cellars for commercial, industrial and residential purposes.

The cellars have been engineered and certified to Australian standards and the BCA.

By using a tunnel at the front of the bunker allows you to fully cover the main structure with soil to eliminate the main concern of radient heat. Also we can create a double door feature which is where we build a second door in the tunnel to minimise the radiant heat from the bunker door and also creates an air lock which helps to insulate the main bunker door.

The bunker can be supplied with a 240x240x240 rated door, jams and furniture.

Another option thats available is we insert a fire bunker in the ground and place another small concrete box on top with the fire door, then you can open the door and walk down the stairs into the bunker. Again the main structure is fully insulated with soil.

These are pictures of a 6 metre x 4 metre fire bunker and tunnel built at Uraidla in 2005. This bunker was fully burried and finished with stone pitching.

This model displays a 1600mm x 1600mm fire bunker with 2 metre tunnel which if placed opposite a wall or a concrete/stone structure would also stop direct radiated heat.

This is a model of 3700 x 1200 fire bunker with 2 metre tunnel which stops direct radient heat on the door and allows you to fully bury the main bunker structure.

This model is a 3050 x 3050 fire bunker with a 3700 x 2300 outer entry chamber. This design also allows the owner to store items in the outer area. Also this design blocks direct radient heat and also allows the main structure to buried under soil.

This is design of a 3050 x 3050 fire bunker with a 2400mm x 2400mm right angle tunnel. This can be fitted to any size fire bunker. This also stops direct radiant heat.

This is a 4 metre x 5 metre fire bunker/cellar in Adelaide
